I love sharing space with individuals, hearing their stories, and joining them in their new beginnings. I tend to be very empathetic and compassionate, while also remaining level-headed, practical, and realistic. All of these things drew me to pursue the mental health profession, as well as my love for the messiness and beauty of humanity.

I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, and I have experience working with a variety of concerns and diagnoses. More specifically, I do feel a special pull toward working with teens and young adults. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, faith deconstruction, trauma, family of origin concerns, grief and loss.

I have an eclectic approach, drawing from CBT, systems theories, narrative theory, psychodynamic theory, etc., but I truly tailor my work to fit each individual client’s temperament, presenting concern, and history. I’m trained in EMDR, and have found it to be a powerful tool when addressing trauma. Also, humor; I think it’s helpful to laugh once in a while.
