Position Title: Full-time and Part-time Therapists

We are seeking additional mental health professionals, full-time and part-time, to join our team of therapists at our non-profit agency. NewPath supports a hybrid model of service to clients, via telehealth and in-person appointments. As a non-profit, we strive to remove barriers to receiving treatment due to financial constraints.


NewPath Mental Health Services, formerly known as Christian Recovery Center, has been offering a specialty outpatient program for the treatment of those who have sexually offended since 1995. Job candidates who are wishing to build or utilize skills as part of our sex offender treatment program, called Restoration Project, are strongly encouraged to apply.

As a therapist at NewPath, you will build and maintain a caseload of clients with a variety of presenting concerns including, but not limited to, mood disorders, personality disorders, and relationship concerns. In the treatment of those who have sexually offended, we typically serve clients who are referred due to court order. Clients have an individual therapist and also participate in group therapy with others in the program.


Ideal candidate is:

  • Licensed (LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, LP) in the state of Minnesota. Mental health practitioners working toward licensure may also apply.

  • Must have completed graduate degree in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling.

  • Interest in serving those who have sexually offended or are experiencing problematic sexual behaviors is helpful.

  • Experienced with clients presenting with trauma or abuse.

  • Strong verbal, written, and communication skills; ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative clinical team

  • Diverse candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

  • Comfortable working in a Christian environment with clients who may be seeking to incorporate their faith into psychotherapy

  • HIPAA compliant telehealth platforms for group and individual therapy (Zoom and Theralink respectively). Flexibility regarding provision of services in person, via telehealth and/or a combination of both due to COVID safety restrictions.

  • Use of agency issued technology (laptops, etc).

  • Tailored scheduling opportunities for part-time therapists

Compensation is based on licensure level and experience.  We encourage both unlicensed and licensed therapists to apply as we welcome every level of expertise and love participating in the develpment of those new to practicing therapy.  Unlicensed on a full-time basis may expect $48,000-$58,000 and licensed between $60,000 - $80,000.
