As a former teacher, particularly enjoys working with teens and children, in addition to working with families. Skilled in the treatment of depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, grief, and marriage and family relational difficulties. She carries certifications in EMDR and Trust Based Relational Intervention (working with adoptive families).
Cynthia enjoyed teaching but felt drawn to therapy and chose to pursue that as a second career. She enjoys public speaking, particularly on parent education. Cynthia is a writer, likes to cook, bicycle, and travel and treasures family time. Her life verse is II Cor. 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
