Kara Arne

Kara is a licensed professional clinical counselor and licensed drug and alcohol counselor. She holds a master's degree in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy.  Her clinical focus is working with clients with co-occurring disorders and providing forensic sex therapy.  Kara also has experience working with adult clients with a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, psychosis, and relational issues.

 

Kara underwent training to serve law enforcement officers, first responders, and their family with their mental health needs. She can provide compassionate care for trauma, burnout, and other challenges faced on the job and at home.

Through her years of professional experience in the field of health care, Kara has learned the value of empathetic and compassionate care.  She believes to establish a strong therapeutic relationship it is important to learn how the client views themself and the world.  She strives to live and work by the Alfred Adler quote, "Seeing with the eyes of another, listening with the ears of another, and feeling with the heart of another."  Upon a client's request, Kara welcomes the opportunity to bring faith practices into the therapeutic process.
