Samanntha is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and is dedicated to providing online therapy services.
Formerly an elementary school teacher, she has ten years of experience working with children and families. She is passionate in working with both children and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, anger management, relationship issues, family issues, parenting issues, marriage issues and couples counseling. She is trained to help clients incorporate their faith and spirituality into their growth and healing journey.
Samanntha approaches her work from a family systems perspective, finding that family dynamics, culture, and family values have a strong impact on an individual’s mental health and wellbeing. When working with clients, she utilizes and draws from emotionally focused therapy, contextual therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, structural therapy and solution focused therapy.
Traveling, being out doors, playing tennis, pickle ball, ping pong, spending quality time with family and friends, and playing board games are her favorite pastimes. Samanntha is a Hmong American, fluent in Hmong.
