Elaine is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker and holds a graduate certificate in Trauma Studies from Union University. Before pursuing social work, she completed graduate level education in business administration and leadership. Her prior experience includes assessment, treatment, and discharge planning with individuals involved in the criminal justice system, as well as advancing state-wide mental health training and crisis-intervention efforts through the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network.

Elaine is passionate about supporting individuals navigating substance use recovery and considers it an honor to walk alongside those seeking healing and restoration. She also has a strong interest in neurodiversity and has completed training focused on supportive interventions for individuals on the autism spectrum. Additional clinical interests include the following challenges: anxiety, addiction, depression, trauma, sexually problematic behaviors and relational difficulties. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR and other evidence-based modalities.

Outside of her time in the therapy room, Elaine can usually be found with a good book and an ever-growing “to-be-read” list. Having spent most of her life in the South, she recently relocated to Minnesota and has enjoyed time exploring the state’s natural beauty.

Elaine is providing counseling services at NewPath under the supervision of Natalie Kenyon, MSW LICSW, a board approved supervisor.​​
